Research Highlights

• Non-isothermal kinetics of the organocatalytic ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone with the metal-free alpha-hydroxy acids: Eco-friendly and facile synthesis process

• Influence of tin(II), aluminum(III) and titanium(IV) catalysts on the transesterification of poly(L-lactic acid)

• Microwave-assisted the solvent-free ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone initiated by n-butyltin(IV) chlorides

• Determination of the activation parameters for the ring-opening polymerization of epsilon-caprolactone initiated by Sn(II) and Zn(II) chlorides using the fast technique of DSC

Research Projects

• Development of low toxic metal-free initiators for the ring-opening polymerization of cyclic ester

• Investigation on the effect of transesterification reaction on the properties of biodegradable polyesters

• Designing of the novel metal-containing macroinitiators for the controlled ring-opening polymerization of cyclic ester

• Kinetics and thermodynamics study of the ring-opening polymerization of cyclic ester in the presence of metal-containing and metal-free initiating systems
